The Standing Committee on Rules, Procedures and the Rights of Parliament met this day at 9 a.m., in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Diane Bellemare, presiding.

Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Batters, Bellemare, Black, Busson, Cordy, Deacon (Ontario), Dean, Gold, P.C., MacDonald, Marwah, Oh, Ringuette, Saint-Germain and Woo (14).

Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Tannas (1).

Participating in the meeting: Erin Virgint, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
