The Standing Committee on Rules, Procedures and the Rights of Parliament met this day at 9:34 a.m., in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Diane Bellemare, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Batters, Bellemare, Black, Busson, Cordy, Deacon (Ontario), Gold, P.C., Greene, Marwah, Omidvar, Ringuette, Saint-Germain, Wells and Woo (14).
Participating in the meeting: Erin Virgint, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
The Honourable Senator Saint-Germain moved that the Honourable Senator Woo be elected deputy chair of the committee in place of the Honourable Senator Lankin, P.C.
The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
