The Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs met in camera this day at 12:02 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable David Richards, presiding.
Members of the subcommittee present: The Honourable Senators Anderson, Deacon (Ontario), Richards and Yussuff (4).
Participating in the meeting: Chantal Cardinal, Procedural Clerk, Committees Directorate; Catlin Seibel-Kamél, Legislative Clerk, Chamber Operations and Procedure Office; Jean-Rodrigue Paré, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the subcommittee continued its study on issues relating to Veterans Affairs, including services and benefits provided, commemorative activities, and the continuing implementation of the Veteran’s Well-being Act.
It was agreed that the subcommittee allow the transcription of today’s meeting, that one copy be kept with the clerk of the subcommittee for consultation by committee members or staff present, and that the recording be destroyed by the clerk when authorized to do so by the Subcommittee on Agenda and Procedure, but no later than at the end of this parliamentary session.
At 12:54 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the chair.
