The Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs met this day at 12 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable David Richards, presiding.
Members of the subcommittee present: The Honourable Senators Anderson, Boisvenu, Deacon (Ontario), Richards and Yussuff (5).
Participating in the meeting: Catlin Seibel-Kamél, Legislative Clerk, Chamber Operations and Procedure Office; Jean-Rodrigue Paré, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the subcommittee continued its study on issues relating to Veterans Affairs, including services and benefits provided, commemorative activities, and the continuing implementation of the Veteran’s Well-being Act.

Nigel McCourry, Lance Corporal (medical retired), United States Marine Corps (by videoconference).
Kelsie Sheren and Nigel McCourry each made a statement and answered questions.
