The Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs met in camera this day at 12:01 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Rebecca Patterson, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Anderson, Deacon (Ontario), McNair, Patterson and Richards (5).
Participating in the meeting: Diana Ambrozas, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the subcommittee continued its examination of Examine and report on issues relating to Veterans Affairs, including services and benefits provided, commemorative activities, and the continuing implementation of the Veterans Well-being Act.
TOPIC: Veterans' homelessness
It was agreed that the subcommittee allow the transcription of the meeting, that one copy be kept with the clerk of the subcommittee for consultation by subcommittee members and staff present, and that the transcript be destroyed by the clerk when authorized to do so by the chair and deputy chair but no later than at the end of this parliamentary session.
The subcommittee discussed in camera a draft agenda.
At 1:03 p.m., the subcommittee adjourned to the call of the chair.
