The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day at 8:01 a.m., in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Joan Kingston, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Arnot, Aucoin, Fridhandler, Kingston, Lewis, Miville-Dechêne, Verner, P.C. and Youance (8).
Participating in the meeting: Jesse Good and Avalon Jennings, Analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, the committee continued its study of the Newfoundland and Labrador’s offshore petroleum industry.

At 9:05 a.m., the committee resumed.
Bob Fiander and Paul Barnes each made a statement and, together with Rachelle Cochrane, answered questions.
At 10 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
