The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day at 8 a.m., in room B30, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Joan Kingston, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Aucoin, Coyle, Fridhandler, Galvez, Kingston, Lewis, McCallum, Miville-Dechêne, Wells (Newfoundland and Labrador) and Youance (10).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, September 25, 2025, the committee began its study of such issues as may arise from time to time relating to energy, the environment, natural resources and climate change.
