The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 9:03 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Claude Carignan, P.C., presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cardozo, Carignan, P.C., Dalphond, Forest, Gignac, Hébert, Kingston, MacAdam, Miville-Dechêne and Ross (10).
Participating in the meeting: Sylvain Fleury and Michaël Lambert-Racine, Analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the committee continued its study of matters relating to federal estimates generally and other financial matters.

Scott Moore, Executive Vice-President, Finance and Chief Operating Officer;
Ross Prusakowski, Deputy Chief Economist and Director, Country and Sector Intelligence.
As individuals (by videoconference):
Olaf Weber, Professor, CIBC Chair in Sustainable Finance, York University;
Ian Lee, Associate Professor, Sprott School of Business, Carleton University.
Olaf Weber made a statement and answered questions.
At 10:04 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 10:07 a.m., the committee resumed.
Scott Moore and Ian Lee each made a statement and, together with Ross Prusakowski, answered questions.
At 11:06 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
