The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 6:46 p.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the deputy chair, the Honourable Éric Forest, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cardozo, Dalphond, Forest, Galvez, Gignac, Hébert, MacAdam, Oudar, Robinson and Ross (10).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Pupatello (1).
Participating in the meeting: André Léonard and Michaël Lambert-Racine, Analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 7, 2026, the committee continued its examination of the subject matter of Bill C-30, An Act to implement certain provisions of the spring economic update tabled in Parliament on April 28, 2026.

At 7:47 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 7:51 p.m., the committee resumed.
Annette Ryan made a statement and, together with Govindadeva Bernier, Louis Perrault and Kristina Grinshpoon, answered questions.
At 8:37 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
