The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 9 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the deputy chair, the Honourable Éric Forest, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Cardozo, Forest, Galvez, Gignac, Hébert, MacAdam, Robinson and Ross (8).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Pupatello (1).
Participating in the meeting: André Léonard and Michaël Lambert-Racine, Analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 7, 2026, the committee continued its examination of the subject matter of Bill C-30, An Act to implement certain provisions of the spring economic update tabled in Parliament on April 28, 2026.

Ron Lemaire, President.
Stéphanie Levasseur, Émilie Bergeron and Aimee Rae each made a statement and, together with Pierre Petelle and Brodie Berrigan, answered questions.
At 10 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 10:05 a.m., the committee resumed.
