The Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications met this day at 6:48 p.m., in room B45, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Larry W. Smith, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Arnold, Aucoin, Dasko, Lewis, Miville-Dechêne, Mohamed, Petitclerc, Simons, Smith and Wilson (10).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, October 30, 2025, the committee continued its study on the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence (AI) in the information and communication technology sector.
