Honourable senators, I have the honour to inform the Senate that pursuant to the order adopted by the Senate on October 7, 2025, the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade deposited with the Clerk of the Senate on December 11, 2025, its first report entitled Canada-Africa: Seizing a Strategic Opportunity and I move that the report be placed on the Orders of the Day for consideration at the next sitting of the Senate.
