THE SENATE — The Late Honourable Joseph A. Day

Honourable senators, it is with deep regret that I convey to you the news that the Honourable Joseph A. Day has passed away. There will be an opportunity for us to pay tribute at a later time, but at this time I extend deepest sympathies on behalf of all senators and all others associated with this place to his loved ones.

Honourable senators, I ask that you rise and join me in a minute of silent tribute.
