I have a quick question for you, Senator Moreau.
Welcome back to everyone for what will be a productive session.
My question is whether the government is prepared to state more clearly that they are not sending arms to the United States, knowing that those arms will end up in Israel? Could you clarify that, please?
I am not aware that the government is taking action to send arms to the United States that would end up in any part of the world. Our policy is that we don’t want to encourage that kind of situation. I have no specific answer to your question, but I have no reason to think that such a thing has happened so far.
I would like some confirmation, Senator Moreau, that when I provide you with the evidence that is the basis of my question, you will review it and bring it up with the government.
I will certainly look at the evidence that you provide me, and I will raise the question with the minister on the basis of the facts that you submit.
