In light of the question that my colleague, Senator Cardozo, asked you earlier about Canada’s involvement in Iran, my understanding is that the government has no plans to participate militarily. However, can you tell us about the government’s plans on the diplomatic and humanitarian fronts?

The Prime Minister was very clear about our military involvement. Canada has no plans to participate in the U.S.-Israeli actions against Iran. The government made a clear distinction between the regime itself and what the Iranian people are experiencing. Canada has a long-standing tradition of providing humanitarian assistance, and I know that will extend to the Iranian people, who are suffering —
