Honourable senators, we were deeply saddened by the news that the Honourable Murray Sinclair, our former colleague, passed away yesterday. As we meet today on the traditional territory of the Algonquin Anishinaabe people, I extend deepest sympathies on behalf of all senators and all associated with this place to his entire family.
