Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Stollery, seconded by the Honourable Senator Riel, P.C., for the second reading of Bill C-61, An act to implement the Canada-Israel Free Trade Agreement.

After debate. The question being put on the motion, it was adopted.

The Bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Stewart moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Petten, that the Bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs.
