The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day, in room Glen 206, Telus Convention Centre, at 9:45 a.m., the Chair, the Honourable Tommy Banks, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Adams, Angus, Banks, Buchanan, P.C., Milne and Spivak (6).
In attendance: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Lynne Myers, Research Analyst, Science and Technology and Frédéric Beauregard-Tellier, Economics Division.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, October 19, 2004, the committee continued its study of emerging issues related to its mandate. (For complete text of Order of Reference, see proceedings of the committee, Issue No. 1.)
