Resuming debate on the motion of the Honourable Senator Andreychuk, seconded by the Honourable Senator Nancy Ruth, for the second reading of Bill C-48, An Act to amend the Criminal Code in order to implement the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

The bill was then read the second time.

The Honourable Senator Andreychuk moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Angus, that the bill be referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Trade.
