The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day at 8 a.m., in room 257, East Block, the chair, the Honourable Richard Neufeld, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Black, Dean, Fraser, Griffin, MacDonald, Massicotte, Mockler, Neufeld, Patterson and Wetston (10).
In attendance: Sam Banks and Jesse Good, Analysts, Parliamentary Information and Research Service, Library of Parliament.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 4, 2017, the committee continued its study of Bill C-18, An Act to amend the Rouge National Urban Park Act and the Canada National Parks Act.

Ms. Sumner made a statement and, together with Ms. Veinotte, answered questions.
At 8:52 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 9:02 a.m., the committee resumed.
Mr. Whittamore made a statement and answered questions.
Mr. Robb made a statement and, together with Mr. Whittamore, answered questions.
At 9:55 a.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
