The Standing Senate Committee on Energy, the Environment and Natural Resources met this day at 8 a.m., in room 257, East Block, the deputy chair, the Honourable Michael L. MacDonald, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Dupuis, MacDonald, Massicotte, Mockler, Neufeld, Richards, Seidman and Wetston (8).
In attendance: Sam Banks, Analyst, Parliamentary Information and Research Services, Library of Parliament.
Also present: The official reporters of the Senate.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, the committee continued its consideration of the subject matter of those elements contained in Part 5 of Bill C-74, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on February 27, 2018 and other measures.
