The Standing Senate Committee on Banking, Commerce and the Economy met this day at 11:30 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Pamela Wallin, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Audette, Bellemare, Deacon (Nova Scotia), Loffreda, Marshall, Martin, Massicotte, Miville-Dechêne, Petten, Ringuette, Wallin and Yussuff (12).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, December 14, 2023, the committee began its consideration of Bill C-34, An Act to amend the Investment Canada Act.
