The Standing Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs met this day at 4:03 p.m. in Room 256-S of the Centre Block, the Chairman, the Honourable John B. Stewart, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: The Honourable Senators Andreychuk, Bolduc, Corbin, Doody, Grafstein, Ottenheimer, Stewart and Stollery.(8)
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators De Bané and Whelan.
Also present: From the Research Branch of the Library of Parliament: Mr. Anthony Chapman, Economics Division.

The committee considered Bill C-54, an Act to amend the Foreign Extraterritorial Measures Act.
Mr. Wright made a presentation, and along with the other witnesses, answered questions.
Senator Grafstein moved -- That the Committee report Bill C-54 to the Senate without amendment.
Carried unanimously.
At 5:20 p.m., the committee met in camera to consider future business.
At 5:40 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
