The Standing Senate Committee on Transport and Communications met at 3:30 p.m. this day, the Chair, the Honourable Senator Lise Bacon, presiding.
Members of the Committee present: The Honourable Senators Atkins, Bacon, Forrestall, Landry, Perrault, Petten, Poulin, Roberge, and Spivak. (9)
In attendance: David Wightman, Consultant, Parliamentary Centre; Michel Patrice, Legislative Clerk, Committees and Private Legislation Directorate.
Also in attendance: The official reporters of the Senate.

Pursuant to the Order of Reference adopted by the Senate on June 10, 1996, the Committee proceeded to examine Bill C-20, An Act Respecting the Commercialization of Civil Air Navigation Services.
The witness(es) made a statement and answered questions.
It was agreed, -- That the letter by NAVCAN be tabled with the Clerk of the Committee as Exhibit 5900 T1 - 2.35 / C-20, 1, "1".
At 4:50 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the Chair.
