Proceedings of the Subcommittee on Cities

Issue 1 - Evidence, November 21,  2007

OTTAWA, Wednesday, November 21, 2007

The Subcommittee on Cities of the Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology met this day at 5:57 p.m. to consider a draft budget.

Senator Art Eggleton (Chair) in the chair.

[English]

The Chair: We will now go into the Subcommittee on Cities to pass the budget. Unfortunately, because of prorogation, we need to do these things all over again. We will do the budget, and then we will come back to the main committee to adopt the budget from the Subcommittee on Cities.

We said we would do some electronic consultations, so the budget item is for consultations for electronics and the researcher to help pull all that together. That is the main thing; then we have miscellaneous hospitality. There is not much there.

Do I have a motion to adopt this item from Senator Munson?

Senator Munson: I so move.

The Chair: Is that agreed?

Hon. Senators: Agreed.

The Chair: Carried. I now adjourn the meeting of the Subcommittee on Cities.

The committee adjourned.
