The Standing Senate Committee on Indigenous Peoples met this day at 6:45 p.m., in room C128, Senate of Canada Building, the chair, the Honourable Brian Francis, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Arnot, Coyle, Francis, Greenwood, Hartling, McNair, Prosper and Tannas (8).
Participating in the meeting: Sara Fryer and Antoine Csuzdi-Vallée, analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 30, 2024, the committee continued its consideration of the subject matter of Bill S-268, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and the Indian Act.

Bobby Cameron and Roy Whitney each made a statement and, together with John C. Hill and Terry Braun, answered questions.
