EVIDENCE
OTTAWA, Tuesday, April 26, 2022
The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met with videoconference this day at 9 a.m. [ET], in camera, to study the implementation of Indigenous rights-based fisheries across Canada.
Senator Fabian Manning (Chair) in the chair.
(The committee continued in camera.)
(The committee resumed in public.)
The Chair: The purpose today is to discuss our budget for a proposed press conference in Halifax, sometime in June or July, in relation to our study on the implementation of Indigenous rights-based fisheries across Canada. We have the budget prepared, which includes professional and other services, transportation, accommodations, other expenditures, printing, rentals and so on, for a total of $28,587. Could I have a motion from senators?
Senator Quinn: I so move.
The Chair: So moved by Senator Quinn. All those in favour? Contra minded? Carried.
Thank you, senators. With that all done, I thank you for your time this morning and look forward to seeing you again soon. Stay safe, and the meeting is adjourned.
(The committee adjourned.)
