The Standing Senate Committee on Fisheries and Oceans met in camera this day at 9:05 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Fabian Manning, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Busson, Francis, Kutcher, Manning and Ravalia (5).

Pursuant to Rule 12-16(1)(d), the committee discussed in camera a draft agenda (future business).

At 9:18 a.m., the committee resumed in public.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, the committee continued its examination of Canada’s seal populations and seal harvest.
It was agreed that the special study budget application for public hearings and fact-finding mission to Newfoundland, for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2024, be approved for submission to the Standing Committee on Internal Economy, Budgets and Administration:
