The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 9 a.m., in room W120, 1 Wellington St., the deputy chair, the Honourable Éric Forest, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Carignan, P.C., Dalphond, Forest, Galvez, Gignac, Kingston, Loffreda, MacAdam, Marshall, Moreau and Pate (11).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Hay (1).
Participating in the meeting: Sylvain Fleury, Analyst, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, May 29, 2025, the committee continued its examination of expenditures set out in the Main Estimates for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, with the exception of Library of Parliament Vote 1.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the committee continued its examination of the Supplementary Estimates (A) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026.

Karen Hogan made a statement and, together with Andrew Hayes, answered questions.
At 9:39 a.m., the chair, the Honourable Senator Carignan, P.C., took the chair.
At 10:30 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 10:38 a.m., the committee resumed.
Jonathan Moor made a statement and, together with Lieutenant-General Stephen R. Kelsey and Nancy Tremblay, answered questions.
At 12:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
