The Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day at 9:02 a.m., in room W110, 1 Wellington St., the chair, the Honourable Claude Carignan, P.C., presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Carignan, P.C., Cuzner, Forest, Galvez, Gignac, Hébert, MacAdam, Marshall and Ross (9).
Other senators present: The Honourable Senators Pate and Pupatello (2).
Participating in the meeting: Michaël Lambert-Racine and André Léonard, Analysts, Library of Parliament.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, the committee continued its consideration of the subject matter of all of Bill C-15, An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on November 4, 2025.

Julie Blais, Mary Chevreau and Ernie Daniels each made a statement and, together with Jody Anderson, answered questions.
At 10:02 a.m., the committee suspended.
At 10:08 a.m., the committee resumed.
Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 5, 2026, the committee began its consideration of Bill C-4, An Act respecting certain affordability measures for Canadians and another measure.
