On Wednesday, March 28, 2007, the Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence designated Senator Hays, P.C., a member of the Subcommittee on Veterans Affairs.
Pursuant to rule 85(4), membership of the subcommittee was amended as follows:
The name of the Honourable Senator Meighen substitution pending (February 27, 2007).
The name of the Honourable Senator Hays, P.C., was removed from the Standing Senate Committee on National Security and Defence (March 29, 2007).
