Tuesday, November 10, 2020 – Senator Robert Black speaks to Grade 10 civics students at FE Madill Secondary School in Wingham, Ontario, about the Senate’s role, his path to the Senate, and his work as a senator.

Thursday, November 12, 2020 — Senator Yuen Pau Woo participates in this year’s virtual Victoria Forum hosted in partnership with the University of Victoria and the Senate of Canada. Senator Woo participated as moderator and co-organizer of two round tables: Open Banking as a Solution for Financial Inclusion in Canada and The Role of Fintech in Cross Border Remittances for Poverty Alleviation and Micro-Investment in Developing Countries.

Thursday, November 12, 2020 — Senator Jim Munson moderates a panel on bridging divides in the Middle East and the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf at the virtual Victoria Forum, hosted by the University of Victoria in partnership with the Senate of Canada.

Monday, November 23, 2020 — Senator Percy E. Downe speaks about Canada's role in peacekeeping missions to students from the University of Prince Edward Island. Senator Downe was a guest speaker in Dr. Yuliya Rashchupkina’s “War and Peace” course.

Friday, November 27, 2020 — Senator Colin Deacon conducts a Q&A session on open banking with students of the Master of Financial Innovation & Technology program at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business.
